Eagle Manufacturing, based in Appleton, Wisconsin, manufactured tractors from the early 1900s until 1938. Initially, Eagle produced large two-cylinder gasoline tractors equipped with their own engines until 1930. However, due to market pressures, the company had to transition to smaller tractors that utilized outsourced engines, which ultimately hindered their competitiveness. Tractor production ceased in 1938, and Eagle was subsequently sold to the Four Wheel Drive Auto Company (FWD), which is now known as Seagrave Apparatus, a manufacturer of fire trucks.
