The Ferguson F-40 is a utility tractor produced from 1956 to 1957 by Ferguson in Detroit, Michigan, USA. It shares the same design as the Massey Harris 50 and was introduced during the dual line policy of Massey-Harris-Ferguson. The F-40 was available in utility, single or two-wheel row-crop, and high-clearance configurations. It features a Continental 2.2L 4-cylinder gasoline engine, a 6-speed unsynchronized gear transmission, and two-wheel drive with optional power steering. The tractor has a live rear PTO and an open operator station. It is capable of pulling 3 plows and has a drawbar power of about 31 hp (claimed).
