Ford 1500
The Ford 1500 is a compact utility tractor produced from 1979 to 1982 as part of the Hundred Compact Series. It was built by Shibaura in Japan and distributed by Ford. The tractor features a Shibaura 1.1L 2-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine producing about 19.8 hp, with a 12-speed gear transmission. It offers two- or four-wheel drive options, manual steering, and differential mechanical drum brakes. The tractor has a two-post fixed ROPS for operator safety. Fuel capacity is 5.8 gallons, and the hydraulic system holds 5.3 gallons. The rear hitch is type I with a lift capacity of 1,432 lbs. | Overview | 60" mid-mount mower deck, Snowblower, Ford 770 loader, Ford 770A loader, Ford 770B loader, Backhoe. The Ford matched the model 1500 to a variety of mowers, including a belly-mount 60-inch, 59 and 72-inch rear finish mowers, and 48 or 60 inch rear rotary cutters. A 62-inch flail mower was also available. Both 72 and 84-inch rear blades were offered, plus a 48-inch box scraper and a 65-inch Gannon scraper (if the tractor had 4x4). |
