Gilson 53017 S-16

The Gilson 53017 S-16 is a garden tractor produced from 1973 to 1974 as part of the S Series. It features a 16 hp Briggs & Stratton 531cc 1-cylinder gasoline engine with an air-cooled horizontal shaft. The tractor uses a Vickers T66 shaft-driven hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears. It is a two-wheel drive with manual steering and an open operator station. Tires include 23x10.50x12 ag rear tires and 6x6.50-8 lawn/turf front tires. Electrical system is 12 volts with negative ground. Available attachments include 42" and 48" mid-mount mower decks, a 36" snowblower, and a 42" front-mount blade.
