Gilson 53042 S-Twin

The Gilson 53042 S-Twin is a garden tractor produced from 1978 to 1981 as part of the S Series. It features a 16 hp Briggs & Stratton 655cc 2-cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine with electric start. The tractor uses a 4-speed belt-driven variator transmission with 4 forward and 1 reverse gear. It has two-wheel drive, manual steering, and an open operator station. Tires are sized 16x6.50-8 front and 23x8.50-12 rear. Optional sleeve hitch is available. Attachments include 42" and 48" mid-mount mower decks, a snowblower, and a blade, all front-mount or mid-mount as specified. Electrical system is 12 volts with negative ground.
