International Harvester 500

The International Harvester 500 is an agricultural crawler tractor produced from 1965 to 1969. It was built in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The tractor features diesel and gasoline engine options, with power outputs ranging from 38 hp net to 47 hp gross. It offers two transmission types: an 8-speed partial power shift with the IH Torque Amplifier and a 5-speed unsynchronized gear. The tractor has a crawler drive, mechanical clutch steering, and mechanical contracting band brakes. It includes various hydraulic pump flow options and a rear PTO with 1000 and 540 RPM types. The 500 model is related to the later 500C model produced from 1969 to 1974.
