International Harvester

The International Harvester Company was established in 1902 through the merger of the McCormick Harvesting Machine Company and the Deering Harvester Company. It introduced several early tractor models, notably the Farmall in 1924, which transformed tractor design. The Farmall was the first tricycle-style row-crop tractor and excelled not only in plowing but also in precision tasks like cultivating. In 1985, International Harvester's agricultural division was merged with the J.I. Case Company, and equipment continues to be produced under the Case IH brand.
