John Deere 2010

The John Deere 2010 is a row-crop tractor produced from 1960 to 1965 as part of the New Generation Series. It was built in Dubuque, Iowa, USA, and originally sold for $4,600 in 1965. The tractor came in several variants including ag tractor, ag crawler, industrial tractor, and high-clearance models. Engine options included 2.4L 4-cylinder gasoline, 2.7L 4-cylinder diesel, and 2.4L 4-cylinder LP gas engines. It featured an 8-speed John Deere Syncro-Range transmission with 8 forward and 3 reverse gears. The tractor had a tested drawbar power of 39.28 hp and PTO power of 46.86 hp. Mechanical features included two-wheel drive, manual or optional power steering, differential mechanical dry disc brakes, and an open operator station. Fuel capacity was 16 gallons, and the hydraulic system held 8 gallons with an open center type, 1150 psi pressure, and 11 gpm flow. The tractor hitch was a rear type II/I with position and draft control. The PTO was independent and optional with 540/1000 RPM types. The serial number is located on the right-hand side of the engine block.
