John Deere 40C

The John Deere 40C is a compact utility tractor produced from 2005 to 2015 as part of the Milenio C Series. Built by Goldini in Italy and distributed by John Deere, it features a Lombardini 1.7L 3-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine delivering 38 hp (28.3 kW) gross power. The tractor has a 12-speed synchronized transmission with mechanical dry disc clutch and a 4WD drivetrain with power steering and hydraulic wet disc brakes. It includes a two-post mid-mount folding ROPS for operator safety. The hydraulic system operates at 2176 psi with a pump flow of 8.7 gpm. The rear hitch is type I/IN with a lift capacity of 3086 lbs at the ends and 2205 lbs at 24 inches. The PTO is independent with 540/1000 rpm options.
