John Deere 4100

The John Deere 4100 is a compact utility tractor produced from 1998 to 2001 as part of the 4000 Compact Series. It features a Yanmar 1.0L 3-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine delivering 20 hp gross and 19 hp net. The tractor offers an 8-speed partially synchronized and hydrostatic transmission, four-wheel drive, and mechanical rear differential lock. It was built in Augusta, Georgia, USA, and originally priced at $13,500 in 2003. The 4100 was available in a Narrow version without mid-PTO capability. It includes features such as power steering, differential wet disc brakes, and two-post ROPS. The tractor supports a variety of attachments including mid-mount mower decks, snowblower, and front-end loader. The 4100 is part of a series including the 4110 and 4200 models, and it succeeded the 670 model.
