The John Deere 6030 is a Generation II Series row-crop tractor produced from 1972 to 1977. It was built in Waterloo, Iowa, USA, with a total production of 4,028 units including 3,983 turbocharged and 45 naturally aspirated engines. The tractor features a John Deere 8.7L 6-cylinder diesel engine available in turbocharged and naturally aspirated versions, an 8-speed partially synchronized transmission, and a two-wheel drive mechanical system with hydraulic differential lock and power steering. It has a PTO power of up to 175 hp (claimed turbo) and a tested drawbar power of 148.7 hp.
