The Massey Ferguson 1240 is a compact utility tractor produced from 1992 to 2002. It is part of the 1200 Compact Series and was built by Iseki. The tractor features a 1.5L 3-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine with indirect injection and glow plugs. It has a 16-speed synchro shuttle transmission with a 225mm dry disc clutch. The tractor offers two- or four-wheel drive options, power assist steering, wet disc brakes, and a two-post folding ROPS. It has a fuel capacity of 7.9 gallons and a hydraulic system capacity of 6.1 gallons. The PTO is independent with electro-hydraulic clutch and offers both rear and optional mid PTO.
