The Minneapolis-Moline UTI was an industrial tractor produced from 1940 to 1959. It was the industrial version of the Minneapolis-Moline U and had several variants including the UTIL with a six-speed shuttle transmission, the diesel-powered UTID, the military UTIL-M built in 1953, and the UMIL variant with a 340B-4 engine. It featured a 49 hp 4.6L 4-cylinder gasoline engine, two transmission options (5-speed unsynchronized gear and 6-speed mechanical shuttle), and was built with two-wheel drive and manual steering. The tractor had a rear PTO of 540 rpm and an open operator station. It weighed 7400 lbs and had industrial tires sized 8.25-20 front and 12.00-28 rear.
