The New Holland 7840 is a row-crop tractor produced from 1996 to 1998 as part of the PowerStar 40 Series. It is built in Basildon, England and shares the same model as the Ford 7840. It features a Ford Genesis 6.6L 6-cylinder diesel engine, multiple transmission options including an 8-speed constant mesh and 16-speed power shift, and offers 90 hp PTO power. The tractor is available in 2WD and optional 4WD configurations with various mechanical and hydraulic features. It supports rear PTO with 540/1000 rpm and has a range of attachments including Ford 7411 and 7413 loaders. The 7840 is designed for row-crop farming with a comfortable cab option and foldable ROPS for safety.
