The New Holland Workmaster 40 is a compact utility tractor produced from 2013 to 2015. It features a 38 hp LS L3AL 3-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine with Tier III emissions compliance. The tractor offers two transmission options: a 12-speed mechanical shuttle with synchronized shuttle shifting and a hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse speeds in 3 ranges. It has four-wheel drive, mechanical rear differential lock, hydrostatic power steering, wet disc brakes, and a two-post foldable ROPS. The Workmaster 40 includes an open center gear pump hydraulic system with a total flow of 13 gpm. The rear hitch is category I with a lift capacity of up to 1807 lbs at the ends.
