Nichols-Shepard was a producer of agricultural machinery during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The company originated from John Nichols' blacksmith shop located in Battle Creek, Michigan. Its main products included threshing machines and steam engines. In 1929, Nichols-Shepard combined with Hart-Parr and Oliver Chilled Plow to form the Oliver Farm Equipment Company. Production of combines and corn pickers continued at the Battle Creek facility until 1962, when White acquired Oliver and shut down the factory.
