Société Française de Vierzon (SFV) was a French manufacturer specializing in farm tractors during the early to mid-twentieth century. The company traces its roots back to 1848 when Celestin Gerard founded a machinery workshop. This workshop eventually evolved into SFMAI, a versatile manufacturer of agricultural equipment. In the early 1930s, the business, rebranded as SFV, began producing hot bulb diesel tractors. However, an effort to update their product line in the late 1950s failed, leading to SFV's acquisition by J.I. Case. The Vierzon factory transitioned to manufacturing construction equipment in 1962 and was ultimately closed in 1995.
