SFV 401

The SFV 401 is a standard-tread farm tractor produced by SFV in Vierzon, France from 1950 to 1952. It features a 12.8L 1-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine rated at 650 RPM, delivering an estimated 40 hp drawbar power. The tractor has a 5-speed gear transmission with 1 reverse gear, two-wheel drive, and an open operator station. Dimensions include a 76 inch wheelbase, 135.8 inch length, 71.1 inch width, and 74.8 inch height at the steering wheel, weighing 7275 lbs. It uses 6.50-20 front tires and 14-34 or 12-38 rear tires. The SFV 401 was succeeded by the SFV 402 and preceded by the SFV HV2.
