Silver King 42 Standard

The Silver King 42 Standard is a standard-tread farm tractor produced from 1942 to 1954 by Silver King, a part of Fate-Root-Heath, built in Plymouth, Ohio, USA. It features a Continental F-162 2.7L 4-cylinder liquid-cooled gasoline engine with a 4-speed gear transmission and dry disc clutch. The tractor is two-wheel drive with spur gear final drives, manual steering, and mechanical contracting band brakes. It has an open operator station and a rear PTO with a 540 RPM type. The tractor weighs 3200 lbs and has a wheelbase of 66.25 inches. It is capable of pulling 2-3 14-inch plows. Variants include the 3-42 three-wheel and 4-42 four-wheel models.
