Steiner MP-49 Mowpacker 720
The Steiner MP-49 Mowpacker 720 is a front-mount mower produced from 1988 to 1991 by Steiner. It featured an 11-bushel hydraulic dump bin fed by a broom and internal auger. It was available with either a 16.5HP Kubota 599cc 3-cylinder diesel engine or a 21HP Kubota 599cc 3-cylinder gasoline engine. The hydrostatic transmission used a Sunstrand 15 with infinite forward and reverse gears and a Peerless 2400 transaxle. The tractor has four-wheel drive and an open operator station. It rides on 20x8.00-10 lawn/turf tires front and rear. The 49-inch mid-mount mower deck has a cutting width of 49 inches and cut height adjustable from 1.5 to 4.25 inches.
