Toro Sportsman Rider

The Toro Sportsman Rider is a riding lawn mower produced from 1959 to 1962. It features a 5.5 hp Lauson H55 gasoline engine with a 199 cc displacement, air-cooled horizontal-shaft, and a manual recoil starter with optional electric start. The transmission is a Foote belt-driven gear type with 3 forward and 1 reverse gears, using a mechanical idler pulley clutch. It has two-wheel drive, manual steering, and an open operator station. The mower includes a mid PTO with an independent clutch and a 32-inch mid-mount mower deck with 3 blades and manual lift. Electrical system uses a 12-volt battery with negative ground.
