The Toro Suburban 8 is a 1967 garden tractor from the Suburban Compact Series. It features an 8 hp Kohler K181S 305cc 1-cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine, a Peerless 1700 3-speed belt-driven gear transmission with mechanical idler pulley clutch, and two-wheel drive with manual steering and mechanical band brakes. The tractor includes a mid PTO with manual clutch and is equipped with 4.80-8 front and 6.00-12 rear lawn/turf tires. Electrical system is 12 volts with negative ground and a starter-generator charging system. Attachments available include a 42" mid-mount mower deck, snowblower, and blade.
