The Toro Z16-44 is a zero-turn mower from the TimeCutter Z Series produced from 2001 to 2002. It features a 16.5 hp Briggs & Stratton 501cc 1-cylinder gasoline engine, hydrostatic transmission by Hydro-Gear with infinite forward and reverse speeds, and two-wheel drive with power steering. The mower has an open operator station and uses a 44-inch mid-mount Toro mower deck with 3 blades and manual lift. The PTO is mid-mounted and independent with an electric clutch. Electrical system includes a 12-volt battery with 260 CCA and negative ground. The front axle is a caster type. Serial numbers are located on the frame rail below the seat.
