Valmet 702S

The Valmet 702S is a row-crop tractor produced by Valmet from 1974 to 1979 as part of the 02 Series. It features a turbocharged 4.2L 4-cylinder diesel engine producing 75 hp (55.9 kW). The tractor offers two transmission options: an 8-speed synchromesh and a 16-speed two-speed power shift (Hi-Trac). It has two- or four-wheel drive with power steering and a standard cab with heater. The hydraulic system provides a pump flow of 6.9 gpm (26.1 lpm), and the rear hitch lift capacity is 4,674 lbs (2120 kg). The PTO operates at 540 rpm with an optional 540/1000 rpm setting. Dimensions include a wheelbase of 88.2 inches (224 cm), length of 150.4 inches (382 cm), width of 78.7 inches (199 cm), and height of 98.4 inches (249 cm). The tractor weighs 8907 lbs (4040 kg) and uses agricultural tires sized 7.50-18 front and 13.6-38 rear, with larger options for 4WD models. The Valmet 702S was succeeded by the Valmet 903 model.
