Versatile 2240

The Versatile 2240 is a four-wheel drive (4WD) tractor produced from 2002 to 2003 by Versatile, a part of Buhler, built in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It features a Cummins 8.3L 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine producing 240 hp, paired with a 12-speed partially synchronized QuadShift III transmission. The tractor includes articulated power steering, outboard planetary final drives, and a cab with air-conditioning. Its hydraulics system is closed center load sensing with 2900 psi pressure and 45 gpm pump flow. The rear hitch is IVN/III type with a 13000 lbs lift capacity. The PTO is independent and optional, with an electro-hydraulic wet disc clutch and 1000 rpm rear PTO type. Electrical system includes a 12-volt alternator charging 3 batteries with 625 CCA each.
