The Waterloo Boy R is a standard-tread tractor produced by Waterloo Boy from 1914 to 1917 in Waterloo, Iowa, USA. A total of 9,310 units were built. It featured a two-cylinder liquid-cooled kerosene engine available in three displacements (5.4L, 6.5L, and 7.6L) with hand-crank starters. The tractor had a 1-speed unsynchronized gear transmission with forward and reverse controlled by a left-hand lever and a foot-operated clutch. It produced 12 hp drawbar power and 25 hp belt power, capable of pulling 3 14-inch plows. The tractor weighed 6200 lbs and had steel wheels with 28-inch front and 52-inch rear tires. The operator station was open with a steel pan seat, and steering was manual chain and capstan.
