White Yard Boss GT-1600

The White Yard Boss GT-1600 is a garden tractor produced by White from 1975 to 1976. It features a 16 hp Briggs & Stratton 531cc 1-cylinder gasoline engine with air-cooled horizontal shaft design. The tractor uses a Peerless 2315 belt-driven gear transmission with 4 forward and 1 reverse gears. It has two-wheel drive, manual steering, and mechanical disc brakes with an open operator station. The mid PTO is independent with a manual clutch and pulley type. Tires are sized 16x6.50 front and 23x9.50 rear. Attachments include a mid-mount White 990-101 mower deck with 3 blades and manual lift, 42 inches wide. Electrical system is 12 volts with negative ground. A similar variant is the MTD 960 model.
