The Yanmar AF-17 is a compact utility tractor introduced in 1992 as part of the AF Series by Yanmar. It features a 1.0L 3-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine producing 16.8 hp (12.5 kW) at 2500 RPM. The tractor offers an 8-speed transmission with an optional 12-speed creeper, four-wheel drive, and two-post ROPS for operator safety. It has a wheelbase of 53.2 inches (135 cm), weighs 1631 lbs (739 kg), and uses standard agricultural tires sized 6-12 front and 8.3-20 rear. The rear PTO operates at 540 RPM. Electrical system is 12 volts with a 45 AH battery and negative ground. The AF-17 is part of a series including the AF-16, AF-18, and later AF-170 models.
