The Allis Chalmers 7000 is a row-crop tractor produced from 1975 to 1979. It had two versions: an early maroon (or brown) chassis and a later black chassis introduced in 1978 with serial number 8000. The black chassis featured a new transmission design and new cab. The tractor is powered by a 4.9L 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine available in two versions (2900 and 649T) with rated power around 117.8 hp.
