Caterpillar SxS D9H

The Caterpillar SxS D9H is a bulldozer produced from 1974 to 1977. It consisted of two D9H tractors connected side-by-side behind a single blade, controlled from the left tractor. The left tractor was equipped with a 12 CFM compressor and two air supply tanks. It was built in Peoria, Illinois, USA, with a total of 13 units produced. The machine features a powerful 820 hp combined output from two Caterpillar D353 turbocharged diesel engines, a 3-speed power shift transmission, and crawler drive with planetary final drives.
