Ford produced a wide range of industrial tractors and equipment. The early models of Ford's industrial tractors were adaptations of their farm tractor series. By the 1970s, the company had broadened its industrial product offerings to include specialized equipment such as backhoes, loaders, and skid-steer loaders. In 1990, Ford sold its farm and industrial tractor division to Fiat, which still markets this industrial equipment under the New Holland brand.
