Homelite Yard Trac

The Homelite Yard Trac is a lawn tractor produced from 1961 to 1962 by Homelite, a part of Textron. It features a 4.5 hp Lauson V45D 1-cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine with a 4-speed friction drive transmission. The tractor has two-wheel drive, manual steering, and an open operator station. Electrical system includes a 12-volt battery with negative ground. Attachments available include a 24-inch mid-mount mower deck and a 36-inch front-mount blade, both with manual lift. The original price was $389 in 1962. The Yard Trac was succeeded by the Yard Trac Deluxe model produced from 1963 to 1968.
