John Deere 8010

The John Deere 8010 is a four-wheel drive (4WD) tractor built in 1960 by John Deere in Waterloo, Iowa, USA. It was powered by a Detroit Diesel 7.0L 6-cylinder diesel engine producing 215 hp (160.3 kW). Only 100 units were built. Due to transmission issues, the 8010s were returned to the factory and converted into 8020s, with one 8010 surviving in the Keller collection. It featured a 9-speed gear transmission, planetary final drives, articulated power steering, pneumatic drum brakes, and an open operator station. The tractor had a fuel capacity of 106 gallons and a hydraulic system capacity of 25 gallons. Dimensions included a 120-inch wheelbase, 238-inch length, and a weight of 19,700 lbs.
