The Minneapolis-Moline RTS was the standard, or fixed tread, version of the R series produced from 1939 to 1954. It featured a Minneapolis-Moline 2.7L 4-cylinder gasoline engine, a 4-speed unsynchronized gear transmission, and was a two-wheel drive tractor with manual steering. The RTS had an open operator station with an optional cab, and was built in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. It had a drawbar power of 20 hp and belt power of 23 hp, capable of pulling 2 plows. The tractor's dimensions included a 69 inch wheelbase, 108.5 inch length, 81.1 inch width, and 68.5 inch height, weighing 3,100 lbs. It used 5.00-15 front tires and 10-34 rear tires. The RTS was part of the R Series and had several variants including tricycle-front, single-front, adjustable-front, and industrial versions.
