Minneapolis-Moline RTU
The Minneapolis-Moline RTU was the universal row-crop version of the R series tractors produced from 1939 to 1954. It was the most popular version of the R series, available with the Comfort Cab featuring upholstered seat, roll-down windows, and rear door. It featured a 2.7L 4-cylinder gasoline engine, 4-speed unsynchronized transmission, and two-wheel drive with manual steering. The tractor had a wheelbase of 76 inches, weighed 3100 lbs, and was equipped with 4.00-15 front tires and 8-36 rear tires. It delivered 20 to 24 hp drawbar power and could pull 2 plows. The RTU was built in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, with a total production of 25,824 units.
