Snapper 305X

The Snapper 305X is a riding lawn mower introduced in 1971 as part of the Comet Series by Snapper. It features a 5 hp 1-cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine with a manual recoil starter on the 305X variant and an electric starter on the 305XS variant. The transmission is a 5-speed friction disc with 5 forward gears and 1 reverse. It has two-wheel drive and manual steering with an open operator station. Attachments include a 30-inch mid-mount mower deck with a single blade. The electrical system uses a 12-volt battery with negative ground.
