The Snapper 417X is a riding lawn mower produced by Snapper from 1968 to 1969 as part of the Comet Series. It features a 7 hp single-cylinder gasoline engine with air-cooled vertical shaft, a 5-speed friction disc transmission with 1 reverse gear, two-wheel drive, manual steering, and an open operator station. The mower is equipped with a 41-inch mid-mount mower deck with 3 blades for efficient cutting.
