Snapper LT12D

The Snapper LT12D is a lawn tractor produced from 1990 to 1991. It features a 12 hp Briggs & Stratton 465cc 1-cylinder air-cooled gasoline engine with electric start. The transmission is a belt-driven disc type with 6 forward and 1 reverse gear, using a Snapper variable disc drive with 6 notched speed settings. The tractor has two-wheel drive, manual steering, and an open operator station. It includes a mid PTO that is independent with a manual clutch. Tires are 15x6.00-6 front and 18x6.50-8 or 18x8.50-8 rear depending on deck size. Attachments include 33-inch and 41-inch mid-mount mower decks with manual lift and right discharge. Electrical system is 12 volts with negative ground. The LT12D was a more basic model succeeding the earlier LT12 and was offered alongside the related LT14H model.
