Versatile 500

The Versatile 500 is a four-wheel drive (4WD) tractor produced from 2012 to 2017 by Versatile, a part of Rostselmash, built in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It features a powerful Cummins QSX15 14.9L 6-cylinder turbocharged and air-to-air aftercooled diesel engine with 500 hp rated power and up to 550 hp maximum power. The tractor has a 16-speed full power shift Caterpillar TA22 transmission, hydrostatic power steering, and optional differential lock. It includes a closed center load sensing (CCLS) hydraulic system with 4 to 6 valves and pump flow options of 53 gpm or 106 gpm. The Versatile 500 has a wheelbase of 154 inches, weighs 42000 lbs, and uses 710/70R38 tires front and rear. It is equipped with a rear PTO type 1000 (1.75) and a rear hitch type IV. Electrical system features a 12-volt negative ground with a 200 amp alternator and three batteries. The cab comes standard with air-conditioning.
