Fordson Dexta

The Fordson Dexta is a utility tractor produced from 1958 to 1961 by Fordson, a part of Ford, built in Dagenham, England. It was available with a Ford-Perkins 2.4L 3-cylinder diesel engine or a standard 2.2L 4-cylinder gasoline engine. The Dexta was sold in the United States as the Diesel 2000. Variants included a narrow model (52-inch width), an industrial model, and a Dexta Special for Germany. It features a 6-speed transmission with 6 forward and 2 reverse gears, two-wheel drive, manual steering, and differential mechanical expanding shoe brakes. The tractor has an open operator station and a hydraulic pump flow of 4.42 gpm. It has a rear Type I hitch and a rear PTO with optional live PTO (2-stage clutch) and 540 rpm PTO type.
