Mahindra 4500

The Mahindra 4500 is a utility tractor produced from 2001 to 2008 as part of the 00 Series. Built in Maharashtra, India, it features a 2.4L 3-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine producing 42 hp (31.3 kW) with a claimed PTO power of 35 hp (26.1 kW). The tractor is available in two- or four-wheel drive configurations with power steering and two types of transmissions: an 8 forward/2 reverse constant mesh for 2WD and an 8 forward/reverse synchomesh shuttle for 4WD. It has dry disc brakes on 2WD models and wet disc brakes on 4WD models, with a two-post folding ROPS for safety. The hydraulics system is open center with 1 valve and a pump flow of 11 gpm (41.6 lpm). The rear hitch is category II/I with position and draft control and a lift capacity of 3968 lbs (1799 kg).
