Mahindra 5500

The Mahindra 5500 is a utility tractor produced from 2002 to 2008 as part of the 00 Series. It features a 3.0L 4-cylinder liquid-cooled diesel engine producing 54 hp (40.3 kW) with a direct injection fuel system and a compression ratio of 19.4:1. The tractor offers two- or four-wheel drive options with power steering and dry disc brakes on 2WD and wet disc brakes on 4WD. Transmission options include an 8 forward and 2 reverse constant mesh for 2WD and an 8 forward and reverse synchomesh shuttle for 4WD.
