Mahindra is a prominent manufacturing company in India, specializing in metals, automobiles, and agricultural machinery. In 1963, the company partnered with International Harvester to establish the International Tractor Company of India (ITCI), which began producing a variant of the B275 by 1965. This collaboration concluded in 1971 when ITCI was reintegrated into Mahindra as its tractor division. The "Mahindra" brand name made its debut on tractors in 1982. In 1994, Mahindra USA was established to facilitate the export of tractors to the United States.
