Farmall 544

The Farmall 544 is a row-crop tractor produced from 1968 to 1973 by Farmall, a part of International Harvester. It was built in Rock Island, Illinois, USA. The tractor features a choice of International Harvester 3.9L 4-cylinder diesel or 3.3L 4-cylinder gasoline engines. It offers multiple transmission options including 5-speed gear, 10-speed two-speed power shift, 5-speed shuttle, and hydrostatic. The 544 has a drawbar power of about 45.5 hp and PTO power of 52 hp (claimed). It has a wheelbase of 90 inches and weighs between 6100 and 7195 pounds depending on configuration. The tractor includes power steering, independent mechanical disc brakes, and an open operator station with optional cab and heater.
