In 1924, International Harvester launched a revolutionary row-crop tractor called the "Farmall." This innovative tricycle design would lead the market on U.S. farms for the following three decades. The Farmall name was used by IHC for all their tractors equipped with a row-crop front axle until the 1970s, when the brand began to be gradually retired, ultimately disappearing in 1975. In recent years, CNH Global has brought back the Farmall brand for select modern utility tractors.
