Farmall M

The Farmall M is a row-crop tractor produced from 1939 to 1954 by Farmall, a part of International Harvester. It was built in Rock Island, Illinois, USA, with a total production of 270,140 units. The M was available in several variants including the MV high-clearance vegetable version and the MD diesel. It was the row-crop version of the McCormick-Deering W-6. Production continued in the late 1950s at Doncaster as the BM model. The tractor features a 4.1L 4-cylinder engine available in distillate and gasoline versions, a 5-speed sliding gear transmission, and two-wheel drive with manual steering. It has a Lift-All optional hydraulic system and a 540 RPM rear PTO. The Farmall M is known for its durability and versatility in farming applications.
